The nocks look nice too! I'm going to have to try to carve nocks in my next set :D

If you're worried about the feathers not sticking together where you wrapped em, I heard you can get the fibers to knit back together if you hold them over steam, and then smooth em out with your fingers. I haven't had to try it, but that's what some of the guys at the range have said :shrug:

To make the nocks, I used a drill to drill a small hole out to the end, and then I used a file and sandpaper. It was pretty easy, just be careful not to snap the wood when drilling.

Oh interesting! I'll try that, I think they'd look better if they were all back together ^.^

That seems pretty simple! I'll definitely have to give that a shot when I get my shafts in!

Hopefully it works for ya! my feathers have been pretty good at mending themselves so far when they get a little ruffled (but then, mine haven't been spiral wrapped either;))
