This is a hood I made based off of one of Galadriel's. I looove her hood and I wanted something for the elf ranger that made her look a bit more magical and delicate. It's very floppy, and it's made from silk so it kind of slips off my head a bit too easy. Not sure what I'll do about that.

I suppose you could use this for stock if you wanted to, though that's not why I took it, so the quality isn't that great for stock.

Maybe you could stitch a few snap on hair clips into the top of the hood to hold it in place?

Did you create the pattern by your own?

I looked at a few hood patterns to get a good idea of how to do it and then yeah, just drew it out on some paper and went for it. This site is really good for LotR stuff: [link] There's the link to the hood I based it off of

That's fantastic. Thank you! Did you made some others of your costumes by yourself?

I mostly use patterns and either go by them strictly, or make some edits. The green underdress started as a pattern I had, but I changed it so much I don't think it's recognizable as the original anymore XD I'm making a corset right now that I made myself o.0 We'll see how that turns out, haha
