I got a green leather jacket at Salvation Army for $10. Awesome find! So I made myself some shooting gloves. Made my own pattern with some jean scraps, then sewed it on my machine. They're based off of Haldir's archers' gloves. I think they turned out pretty cool ^.^ They're very warm o.o

Very cool, I like it. but unless you're going to be holding your bow in this hand, its not really going to work well as a shooting glove. archery (unless using thumb release) uses three fingers, and you need to cover the tips or the string is going to really damage your skin. But still looks cool.

I'd love to make something similar for myself! I grew up shooting with no such things ever, but I want some for a character x3 (irony-never bought shooting gloves or arm guards... but my character would use them *sigh*)

They really weren't that difficult to make. I just wrapped jean material around my hand and taped it and cut it, and made a pattern from it
