I only pack up images if they are very similar, like several different pictures of one turtle, or several photos of one species of tree bark. All the photos are good and useful, but it seems redundant to upload them as single images, so I pack 'em up.
Well, I took a quick look in your gallery and the only thing I could come up with, as far as why your single images might be getting used more, is I see many single images that are very similar to what you have in packs. For instance, if I were looking for something like this: [link] or this: [link] I'd rather download the single images than this pack: [link] . Nothing personal against the pack, just speaking as a photomanipper, I'm gonna go with the smaller download size. I'd say either don't put the single images up if you're uploading a pack of similar poses, or don't upload the pack. I see you have seven blue dress packs and several single images, but most of the pack images I can find close enough in single images. As a manipper, I'm gonna download the single images unless I just can't make up my mind! Also, I think that many similar poses would confuse me. Have you thought about trimming it down to just the very best of a few poses? I have to do that, I'll have 15 photos of one sunset. All of them are good, but I don't think I need to upload them all because they are so similar.
Yeah, that blue dress one was for a very specific request (which is why they're mostly the same), so I just uploaded them all so she could pick exactly which one she wanted. I may take some of them down...I'm glad you pointed that out; I wasn't sure if anyone else noticed/cared or not.
Stock is made to so that other people can use it in their art. Just look at my favs (the folder called "Used my Stock") for examples on how it can be used.
As for the question presented in this poll- This is a pack: [link] Note how you have to hit the download button to get the images, and they come in the form of a .zip folder
This is a single image: [link] which you just click the download button to get the full-sized version. It takes less time and less hassle for both the stocker and the stock user.
The advantage to packs, however, is that you only have to download one thing, and you have however many images are in the pack instead of downloading a whole bunch of images.
Thank you so very much for all of this wonderful information I am very grateful for helping me. I had no idea that this was out there. Your amazing artist and friend to me
Both I think, maybe a pack with a few single previews?? I do a little stock (still trying to find time to upload more) but I do use stock alot, and find that sometimes a preview will entice me to download a pack if the poses look like what I am after
Yeah, that's what I like to do...pack the ones that are similar to each other and then do the rest individual. It seems that packs don't get used as much for some reason...

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but packs don't seem to get used much.
It all makes sense now...
